Welcome to the beginning of her audiovisual experiment. A musical discovery where her soul meets her pain at points of resolution, clarity, joy and confusion.

“Coke n Dark Chocolate” was the very first song she recorded (and deemed worthy of putting on the net in her name). She had a melody recorded as a voice memo on a purple Blackberry Curve, cryptic poems that needed life and a shitty recording software she downloaded using her step-grandma’s neighbour’s internet in Washington Heights.

Here is the song reborn. It’s a dark song—a beckoning to an ambiguous lover, imploring him to follow her to a place and space where crazy things like her love and lust for him make sense. So come on! Let’s go.

Stay sweet. Stay twisted. And don’t be afraid to get to know her.
